The three St. Croix sisters, daughters of Ophiuchus St. Croix and Mordred, the Byakuyin god of magic.

Airachnid St. Croix

A raccoon, the hot-headed and aggressive middle sister. A seasoned warrior and swordswoman of the Byakuya Dynasty. She has a secret passion for cooking but is embarrassed by it. She was brought to an orphanage at a young age by Ryka to protect her from a cult leader. She ended up getting adopted and lived with an adopted father and three other adopted siblings. She is recognized by her sword and the string of peppers on her waist.

Ryka St. Croix

A fox, the mature and near-emotionless older sister. A skilled physician of the Byakuya Dynasty. She has a love of flute music and carries an enchanted flute that also functions as a bo-staff for self defence, though she views such an instrument as a sign of weakness despite loving it. She used to be more emotional before her older brother Corvus was banished from Shirasagi (the Dynasty’s capital and castle) by their mother, Ophiuchus, the emperor’s right-hand woman for accidentally killing innocent bystanders when he and Ryka went out looking for a birthday gift for their mother and were attacked by bandits. Later in life Ryka his her sister Ophiuchus in an orphanage and offered herself up to a cult leader who had wanted Airachnid. Ryka was taken in by him and raised alongside two other stolen children. At some point when she was older she was used as a test subject for a blood sample from a Canis, anthropomorphic canines that had wild instincts in their genes and mainly lives in tribes while some inhabited and ruled entire kingdoms. The cult wanted to see if non-Canis could be effected by the genes. The sample ended up making Ryka become wild and feral, but she could keep herself subdued through the power of her enchanted flute, which when she played would keep her calm. She is recognized by her enchanted flute.

Ravenna St. Croix

A skunk, the shy and timid younger sister. A knowledgeable scholar of he Byakuya Dynasty and the only child of Ophiuchus and Mordred to remain with her mother, though was treated coldly by her mother and restricted from most activities. She never met her three older siblings as they were gone before she was born. She enjoys poetry and mechanics and often works with the emperor’s brother and the the makers of the automations to indulge in her interests. She is recognized by her fan which she hides behind often due to her shyness.

The four siblings are eventually reunited with each other and their mother.
