Description Part 23 from my series about the world, where Russia united much sooner, she didn't had any internecine wars\disunity periods (at that time).

Warning! This deviation contains unexplained parts and language\border\color etc. gore.

Second 10 Stalins blows:

- Operation "Divorce" - June 08 - September 21, 1945 - the Soviet Army occupied the territory of Greece and Bulgaria from the territory of the surrendered Turkey. Everything happened according to successful agreements between Italy and Japan on the one hand and the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire on the other. According to these agreements, the Soviet Union took Greece and Bulgaria for itself, Italy-part of the territory of Hungary and Bulgaria; Japan, in connection with the growing onslaught from the United States, returned the lands previously torn away from Russia to the USSR, in return, the Soviet Union pledged to stop supplying various weapons to communist groups in China, limiting itself to medical and food aid. Both countries. Italy and Japan signed an agreement "On friendship, mutual assistance and mutual guarantees of independence" with the Soviet Union and the Russian Empire. This treaty was the reason for the conclusion of the "Peace with Honor" between Italy, Japan and the countries of the Alliance on September 2, 1947, which finally ended the Second World War;

- Budapest Strategic Offensive Operation - October 29, 1945 - January 13, 1946 - a Soviet offensive operation conducted to withdraw Hungary and Romania from the war. For most of this period, the Soviet Army was advancing on the positions of the Axis troops on the Hungarian direction. As a result of the war, the population of these two countries has decreased to catastrophic proportions. By 2000, only no more than 4 million people lived in Hungary and Romania;

- Warsaw Strategic Offensive Operation - January 12 - February 3, 1946 - the result of the operation was the surrender of the Reichskommissariat Poland, the release of the last prisoners of the Polish death camps and much more;

- Operation "Whirlwind" - May 6 - 11, 1946 - also known as the Prague-Krakow Strategic Offensive Operation. The reason for such a rapid liberation is a large percentage of active partisans, as well as two Uprisings (in Prague and Krakow) that began just before the offensive;

- Stettin Strategic Offensive Operation - 10 Feb. - 04 Apr. 1946-it is also the "East Pomeranian Strategic Offensive Operation". The main goal is to eliminate the Kriegsmarine bases in the Baltic Sea. The result is the complete destruction of the fleet of the Third Reich in the Baltic by the forces of both the USSR Navy and the USSR Air Force, which used the airfields of the capitulated Sweden;

- Operation "Purification" - June 06 - August 31, 1946 - a strategic offensive operation of the Soviet Army, as a result of which the cities were captured: Vienna, Dresden, Stuttgart, Bern, the city of Munich was surrounded and completely destroyed by a month-long bombing of the Air Force and artillery of the USSR Ground Forces. By the year 2000, this area was completely overgrown with forest planted after the war;

- Hanover - Brussels Strategic Offensive Operation - September 29 - December 17, 1946 - this operation was carried out with the aim of defeating the largest enemy group, capturing West Germany, liberating the North Sea coast and preventing the landing of Allied troops;

- Operation "Alexander" - January 11 - February 05, 1947 - a strategic offensive operation to capture the French capital of Paris. While the American Army captured the city of Chartres, the Soviet Army completely surrounded Paris and began the methodical destruction of the enemy group in it. This action did not allow America to enter Paris first, leaving them to liberate other cities of France;

- Operation "Dagmara" - February 13 - March 21, 1947 - a strategic offensive operation to liberate Denmark and finally encircle the German Army Berlin Group. It was named in honor of Empress Maria Feodorovna Romanova, the wife of the Emperor of the Russian Empire Alexander 3;

- Berlin Strategic Offensive Operation - April 16 - May 08, 1947 - the last strategic offensive operation of the Soviet troops in World War II. The attack began with an artillery and air strike, after that, from the Hanover, Dresden and Stettin bridgeheads, tank and infantry units of the armies of the USSR and the Russian Empire went forward. Although the Berlin Army Group stopped firing and began to surrender on May 2, 1947, the official date of the cessation of hostilities is May 8. And already on May 9, 1947, the unconditional surrender of Germany was signed in Berlin, which ended the fighting in the European Theater of Operations of the Second World War.

Results of the Second World War:

- The unconditional victory of the countries participating in the Anti-Hitler Coalition;

- Overthrowing the Nazi regimes in the losing countries and preventing their spread;

- Liberation of territories occupied by Germany and its allies;

- Independence of some colonies (Africa and the Middle East);

- Multiple losses in people from both sides of the conflict (the USSR alone lost 81,780,000 people: army losses - 23,780,000, civilians-58,000,000);

- the destruction and demolition of a large number of settlements (Munich, Versailles, Berlin-were completely destroyed. A forest was planted on the site of Munich, and Versailles and Berlin were partially restored);

- contamination of large areas in Europe due to the full-scale use of Chemical Weapons, as a result of which the cleaning of the areas took many years (Dresden was finally decontaminated only in 1998);

- the creation of a multipolar system of international relations and the beginning of the Cold War. The main parties to the conflict:

1 - The Russian World - the USSR and the Russian Empire and its colonies;

2 - NATO - the United States, France, Britain and the remnants of its colonial empire;

3 - The Catholic League - The Italian Empire and part of the countries of South America;

4 - The Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere.
