*nod* I'm painfully familiar with the search results of my drawings on Google images. I tried to do something about it at first, but there are just too many of them and many are on non-english websites administrated by people who don't speak english or simply don't care. And more just keeps popping up. It's an impossible mission to get rid of all of it, sadly, so I try to concentrate on cases that are more serious (people trying to sell my art for real money) and theft on DA. And hope that eventually one day people will forget about those drawings and stop circulating them as free-for-all "Google images".

One thing you can do is to file with Google themselves. They will then remove the links from the results, so that will certainly help with some of it. When they do, you get a notice at the bottom of your search results to the effect of: "Some results have been removed from this page due to a DMCA complaint."

I'm more interested in making sure the stolen works are removed than in "punishment". It's simply that the staff respond far more quickly to DMCA takedown notices than they do to reports from the general populace. But only the original artist or their legal representative can file those, so...

Would I like to see ban the thief's account? Yes, that would be nice. But I don't think that would resolve anything since this one apparently has been at this several times on more than one account per those who informed me of the issue with this person.

I understand what you're saying. I've reported tons of deviations, and a lot of them haven't been taken down. Only about one or two have out of ....oh, maybe 30? Two of the deviants who I reported/who were assholes to me got banned, but I don't think it was because they weren't posting their own artwork. I think it was because they harassed people. A lot of their deviations are still up, unfortunately :/.

It's not a very difficult thing to do... well, depending on which program you use for coloring, I guess. If you by any chance use Photoshop or a similar program, here's a nifty tutorial for CGing & outlines: [link]

I can't remember exactly, I did the picture a long time ago... but at least I put some white color on the coat and then used the smudge tool of Photoshop on it. Then I added white dots here and there and drew rays on them so that they'd look like sparks.
I hope I made sense.
