A page I illustrated with colors by Rori Shapiro for a story titled THE HOUSEKEEPER written by one of my favorite Doctor Who writers Paul Magrs. Based on his audio play THE HORNETS NEST which stars Tom Baker back in the role of the Fourth Doctor for the first time since LOGOPOLIS.

The placement of The Hornets Nest is somewhere in between The Invasion of Time and The Ribos Operation. Since Paul has written a very out-of-the-ordinary Fourth Doctor story, I decided to give a different look to the Fourth Doctor's attire.

Paul had mentioned Nest Cottage sort of being like Merlin's House. A mix of things from the past and the future. So, I decided to do something somewhat similar with the Fourth Doctor's attire by making it a cross between what the Doctor was wearing at the time as far as the design of the coat and the scarf was concerned. but I gave him the shirt with the question marks on the lapels that he wears near the end of his time as the Doctor.

And Rori does a really fantastic job keeping up with that theme by choosing colors for the costume that is a mix of both his present and future costume.
