Description

Though they were born cursed, they were born a master of disguise. They could be a dashing man or a meek and beautiful woman depending on what the circumstance requires. Their biology was in the middle, perfect for shifting to each end of the spectrum with ease. You could liken them to a sort of mythical creature, in this case a shapeshifter would be most accurate. Though humans tend to misunderstand or shun things that are unlike them—unlike the norm. Simone was not exempt from this aspect of human nature.

People like to segregate things, perhaps for more organization. Male and female, the caste system, race—everyone fell into something. It was much more difficult for those who don't fit into any. Simone couldn't fit into either male or female though not by choice. They were birthed into this world with different biology. It's either this was for greater purpose or possibly maybe god hates them (if there even is one).

Though a victim of their circumstance, they decided not to erase that part of their being. They will survive this godforsaken world even if it means fooling others. They will end up on top.

Did something a little different with my process this time and decided to add more color (like the skin and individual flowers) since I usually leave my illustrations as is after dropping the gradient map.
I really liked how this turned out!
I admit that my weakest aspect in art is colors that's why I rely a lot on color schemes and use gradient maps. But I am slowly learning how to use and pick colors better!
If you're curious, I took my colors from this image . It's also in the PSD but I thought I'd drop it in here too to credit it at least.

Anyway yeah this is something of my OC Simone! This is just a little more background on them basically.
I know I'm not the best writer but I still try huhu
