Hey guys! Since the official solicits for November issues just came out, I suppose it's all right to share with you the raw artwork for some of these amazing covers I got to color! Here is the raw art for Sonic the Hedgehog #243, from Archie Comics. Pencils and inks were done by ~Yardley !Related content

How does Tracy Yardley draw this good?! He must have some kind of secret gimmick to him that makes him this awesome! I seriously wish I was even remotely on par with Mr. Yardley!
So Matt Herms, was this cover a complete piece or was it like the Sonic Universe issue 3 cover and it was done in seperate layers and then put together? I'm seriously wondering that right now.

That's amazing! Ive been dying to see rad red return, so I'm VERY much looking forward to the Endangered Species story. It's got everything; Finally showing the echidna's that're living in the remains of Albion, Knuckles returning to the spotlight, learning more about Thrash the Tasmanian Devil, and Metal Knuckles finally getting some action after his brief introduction in Scrambled pt. 1 in SU 37. Great job coloring though; bright, vibrant colors that really add to Tracy's amazing artwork!

We fans were teased with those "Metal Series" bots in Sonic Universe #37; it's so good to see them again. I don't think Archie comics has ever used Mecha Knuckles before (non roboticized version at least). I.Flynn has been dropping a number of Sonic R references.

Classy work as always, herms, getting that metal sheen right is always difficult but you nailed it. While I admit, I dont follow the comic, its good to see an age-old concept such as metal knuckles used again in recent works.

Finally! With the Metal Series introduced back during Snively's Sonic Universe arc, I've been waiting to see them action. Looks like Metal Knuckles's battle is going to be a heated one!
