Description I feel like it's been so long since I've done a Zelda scene (and even longer since I did a scene that wasn't dark or foggy), so I finally got around to fixing that. Link and Zelda cooking out in the wild. Since today is the official start of Fall/Autumn, I made the leaves different colors and even had them cooking up a classic Fall treat: Pumpkin Pie!

The scene itself is pretty straightforward. It's set up to look like pretty much anywhere in BotW's open areas. I added some ruins with the nature to really help it feel like it was an area from the game. I wanted to make something kinda similar to one of the cooking spots I remember on the Great Plateau. I also added the blue flowers as the closest-I-can-get replacements for Silent Princess flowers because I feel like it's a nice touch for scenes like this with Link and Zelda together. As for the ingredients in the pot, I originally wanted to use the actual items from the game, but unfortunately most of them weren't available and the ones that were didn't look right. So I used a pumpkin model I've used before, a cube that I edited to look like butter, and a brown plant to replace the Tabantha Wheat. I had to Photoshop in the Cane Sugar because I didn't have any way to recreate that.

Speaking of Photoshop, I did a little bit of work to this in there. Aside from adding the Cane Sugar, I also added moss on the stone ruins on the left and right of the scene. I didn't really think about adding it when I initially rendered the scene out, but I thought it would look nice and help the ruins look more like they belong in the wild. I also had to add the steam coming off the pot since there isn't really a good way for me to do that in the initial render. On Link and Zelda, I added some adjustments to the shading and lighting. Especially on Link, I recolored his whole face because it looked very yellow for some reason (he was almost looked like he belonged in the Simpsons). Lastly, as always, I adjusted the lighting and coloring to making brighter and more vibrant.
