you pulled off Zuko very nicely! I went I Anime Iowa as Season one Katara ([link] ), and this coming up year I'll be making the Fire Nation version of Katara. I cant wait to get started on it!

where did you get the outfit from? and how did you do the scar?

I made the costume myself. The scar I do with a few different colors of lipstick and eye pencil, ranging from brown, dark red and purple.

if i wanted to make the cousteme too like how would i do it. i mean what tools would i need and where to start on it.

You'd need a sewing machine... and if you're inexperienced at sewing the best thing you could do is ask a relative or a friend that knows how to sew to help you.
What I do is I go to a fabric store and find sewing patterns that are close to what the costume looks like (so I'd buy a pattern for loose pants, then a pattern for a vest and a cross front shirt), and then pick materials the colors of the costume and sew them. Some things don't have patterns though, like the sash and the vests border, and you have to be creative and find a way to make them. : )

I bought them at the mall... but they didn't look like that. Haha. xD They had belts all over them, which I seam ripped off, then painted the gold on with gold fabric paint.
