I don't wear colored contacts (I just wear normal ones, because my eyesight is not really good :'D). Its just photoshop!
The wig... it is just a black wig from ebay. I styled it by myself.

The expression is completly perfect, the position of the camera, everything.
Reflects perfectly the essence of Karkat, I really love this character and this cosplay is absolutly awesome.

You should have darkened your lips a little bit, since troll lips are black... but this is the most accurate Karkat cosplay I've seen, congrats!

I know I'm just butting in but you could try to use eye shadow instead of lipstick. That way it will be matte and not glossy, hopefully taking it away from being feminine.

I used grease paint (I'm not 100% sure if that's the right english word for it; in german it's Fettschminke) for the face. But you should use other mak-up for the hands - Now I'm use water based make-up for hands and neck, because it doesn't fade when I touch someone/something. But grease paint is really great for a good covering, but now I'm only use it for the face.
And I guess it's a little bit photoshop too. Here's a picture without edit: [link]
