Description one small step away
from the abyss
do you feel my hands
wrapped around your wrists
a foot can be dangled
a body can be leaned
just far enough over the edge
so the bottom can be seen
close your eyes as you feel my grip
tighten against your skin
feel the wind swirl around you
as i pull you back in
no doom or desolation today
can be found
no gawking crowd will be gathered around
its just you and me
surviving another day

thank you sooooo much i really appreciate this !! my buddy merpagigglesnort wrote a poem titled " the cliff" and i loved it so i wrote this poem and drew this picture as a response to her poem. she has it in her poetry folder on her page. if you get a chance to read it please do !

i hope you know how much this means to me. i've got tears in my eye, but the good kind. i think that it's only right that should color it! i'm sure you'll be ok with that, i'll start, and maybe you could let me know for sure that it's ok. i'm totally going to put the drawing i'm working one aside and color this right now, it really will keep me having one of those mood swings that go so horrible. not today.
