This is actually the first drawing I coloured with an art tablet. Before now I've been colouring with a mouse. D: Dear lord, now I don't know how I ever survived without a tablet.
Oh yeah, we just love hot, sweaty, scary guys with swords, don't we?
(Drew the lineart forever ago.) But even so, I sort of ended up really liking this art piece as I was colouring.
And doing light fluffy clouds was surprisingly fun, though slightly challenging.

He does remind me of Vergil, from Devil May Cry...

Hm, never thought of it before, but he kind of does. Though my impression for the most part is that Vergil's a bit more elegant and Grimmjow a bit more savage at times. But both characters are made of awesome.

I used Photoshop 7, an old outdated program I know. But I like it and it works well with my tablet. And you know, I've tried using the latest photoshop/art programs; I've come to the conclusion that they make it a little easier to find/do things, but that's all. In the end it's really up to your own skills and effort. Or at least that's what I believe.
