Description Here is our friend, Sierra, exploring an outdoor enclosure made for smaller animals.

She has certainly grown over the course of the two weeks since I last saw her (see "Sierra" photo) - notable changes include her losing that blue to her eyes and her teeth have really grown. I don't think I will be letting her teethe on my thumb anymore.

Keep posted to watch her progress into adulthood.

Tigers are the largest of the big cats and are exclusively found in Asia from India to Vietnam, from Indonesia to the Russian Far East. The tiger can be divided into 9 subspecies: 4 are currently critically endangered and 3 are already extinct. Though estimations of tiger populations only a few years ago was 5,500-6,000, today populations are likely closer to 3,500 and are still declining. Dramatic declines of the tiger in India, thought to host the majority of the world’s tigers, have fallen to less than 1,411. Overall, the past decade has seen a 40% reduction in tiger habitat, which now represents a mere 7% of its historic range. Poaching is a significant problem throughout the tiger’s range, the demand for its body parts in traditional medicines, tonics, and exotic dishes driving a lucrative trade that is wiping out entire populations. Long-term threats include habitat fragmentation and prey depletion, which is accelerating the tiger’s demise and subsequently reducing the long-term genetic viability of many populations.

If you want to help, the best for you to do is to educate yourself ([link] ), never buy products made from tigers or endangered species ([link] ), and tell others. Contact me for more information.

Just adorable, kind of reminds me of the one I have . Faved!!

Just adorable, I've had about every wild cat you can think of, and let me tell you that wild cats aren't as dangerous as everyone says they are...The only reason they turn on their trainers is because of abuse; such as not cleaning it's pen, not washing it, not feeding it, not playing with it, etc... and because cats have a very sharp long-term memory and remember everything even from the first time it saw you. If you hit a cat the first day you get it, it will later grow and realise it can outpower you, just like what you did to it, and it will find its chance and do it's worst...The point is that wild animas can be trained if you train it the correct way, and it will ALWAYS love you and even protect you.

**NOTE: IF ANYONE WANT'S TO ASK ME GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE TO OWN A WILD CAT OR HOW FAST THEY GROW AND STUFF LIKE THAT, JUST DROP ON BY AND FIRE AL YOUR QUESITONS AWAY AND HAVE THEM ANSWERED HOURLY; DAILY AT THE MOST!! JUST POST IN THE COMMENT SECTION ON MY PROFILE PAGE AND I'LL GET BACK TO YOU FASTER THAN YOU KNOW IT!!!!**

Her cuteness has just increased. I love the expression on her face. Having her mouth hanging open makes the picture. ^_^

It seems that way and she did get stuck a couple of times in the various tunnels and tight spaces, but she is a master wiggler and can wiggle herself out of any situation!
