awesome work! i really like the rich texture and colors and the composition. i would maybe consider fading the face on the right a little more but other than that, great!

great use of stock, the picture gives a great impression. There's one small drawback - imho there could be a shadow underneath the man and skull. Without a shadow, it kind of looks like he's hanging over the floor, not standing on it.

Here now the fates comes to call from a verging master. Knock, knock.
Somewhat heavy-handed and certainly without the rawrazor sizzle of say a "None So Blind," or "Psychotic Killer Bees," yet, the deft mythological overtones blend with an unspoken otherworldliness that flickers with stealthy allure.
The messages are very hard to miss--the melodramatic eyes looming in the heavens--still, there is that hewsan freshness in this akimbo rendering that flexes and spawns all at once; witness the aura hushed about the central Shakespearean figure.
There are these certain touches which mark actual art such as these from a remarkably wide-ranging virtuoso.
Interesting, hewsan.

I know...I know, got a few coming in the next few days that I think you might like better, but this one was done for the great themes that the Bard expressed timelessly... and I'm learning.
May you have a great holiday weekend.
best to you,

It's not a question of what I or anyone else likes or do not like about your art; rather, it is going with what is pushing through your thoughts, those ideas that won't leave, that demand to be made--that's what to make.
Know, that as a particular poetcritic I do not criticize, I critique. There's a difference.
You are gifted. I'm encouraging you to use your gift fully. Yes, something different some times, a light distraction, refining skills, trying things out, yes, of course. But always back to the ideasurge and the rawrush of the needful thing made. Run the flow.
Impress only yourself. You'll be fine.
You know It and It knows you.
Onward!

Appreciate the encouragement and understand what you are saying... thing is - time - and that affects us all. At one of those better moments right now - when ideas seem to be flowing, and wish to go in many directions, but each takes time... which is always in short supply. Each thing done, seems to improve the speed of technique, but then comes the refinements... and with each thing, comes a point, where say it's done - - - because, each time seen, there is "something" more needing to be done.
AND though, what's done in posted, ultimately is of personal choice... there is a desire to produce something others will enjoy - or for that matter, even care to see. So at least to me, there is that balancing act, to be considered. Tree falling in forest... think you understand.
Again, I thank you for your critiques, encouragement, and enjoyable comments, and for your time, which is a very precious gift.
best, hewsan

It can be difficult to say no. Talent, especially gifted talent is always asked for things that limit the art. But yes, say no.
The art is really all there is. Only the art. Everything and everyone comes after the art. Extreme? Difficult? Cruel? There is only the art.
Make the art and then do what you can; but first, make the art. You don't have to tell them, often it's better not to.
It sounds like you are deciding on things. A long time ago I made the decision I am encouraging you to consider.
Make the art, then make do. Anything or anyone who imposes on making the art but be managed, carefully, politely, out of the way of making the art. In the end, after friends, family, lovers and obligations, there is only the art.

All depends on how you look at it.
Personally, I think it's pretty funny. Most people probably think it's pretty morbid though.

I know... seems most of the people I know as well, just don't have a sense of humor. Think it's pretty cool myself, but a lot of people think I don't have a sense of humor either... but then we laugh at different things... and see the world a bit differently as well.
