Inspiration...Is from a book by Robert Holdstock titled "Lavondyss"
though not a scene directly from it...
Still it is one of those books...
that has influenced my thoughts
on myth and fantasy.

Beautifully vulnerable. The Owl is low, in an open area, and perched there in day light. Predators are 'tempted' but they no better.

Appreciate - and in the book I mention... there is a place that is called "Birdland" and a tree is there.... and though not consciously thinking of it when started this image, think it has the same vibe....
