The artwork here is beautiful. It is a mysterious scene; I m not sure what exactly you are trying to convey. Purgatory--its a state of limbo, trapped between Heaven and Hell. The gates pictured are mystifying , as is the beckoning figure. Which fate is the viewer being led to?

And think Purgatory is more of a place where redemption is a possibility... Where the sin eaters can slowly reduce that which keeps one from heaven, though it is a lonely and rocky place where guardians may allow one to view heaven and earth, but will not allow one to leave - until...
coming to terms with one's past.
Though prefer a viewer to come up with there own interpretations of what images I make. If it helps create a tale within them, even if it differs from my intent - think that makes a work successful...
