Here is yet another new and improved character reference for my interpretation of Athena, Goddess of War and Wisdom, from my series, Mythologies: Journey Through The Ancient World.Note: This design was inspired by 's drawing here. fav.me/d6muhgq And 's drawing here. fav.me/d3496hc

It was nightfall at the Island of the Gorgons. An island that is to be the graveyard of countless warriors, out of all the men who entered the island and survived, Perseus, the man who's mission was aided by the gods to come to the island to slay one of the Gorgons, Medusa. After Medusa's death, the island has been visited by a goddess, the very one which Medusa served loyally and yet cursed her into the life of a monster, The Goddess of Wisdom, Athena.Β
She arrived at the island, holding something behind her shield as she walked through the path of the statues. She looked from side to side feeling shame for these once great men. She arrived at the cave of which the Gorgons live and there she placed many flowers as if it was tribute. She looked down on the flowers, fell to her knees while remembering what has happened as she spoke to herself.
Athena- Medusa, I am very sorry for what I have done. You were a kind woman who was loved by all, you've done rarely wrong and you were very loyal to me. If Poseidon didn't violate you, you would still be loved and yet, he made you.....I made you into a monster. ( sighs in a sorrowful tone ) Why? Why must our ways be so...so strict, so heinous to some innocent lives? One day, I hope that the gods will change their ways so no one will think of us as the very monsters that we unknowingly create. ( get's back up on her feet and walks away ) I hope you can forgive me, Medusa.

it's really an honor and to be honest, I was just writing those just for fun cause I've been having a bad cause of writers block. But aside of that, choosing Skye or Discord is one crazy hard choice.
