hngggggggggg i got sick of drawing poeple, and wanted to test out sai so this.
yes 2 yrs ago i was a huge warriorcats fan...well i still like the series but not obsessed with it anymore :U
and yes this is from the 1st book, into the wild
...i hope they look kindof like cats because i fugured out if you give them too much ...hair (like bangs or whatever) they start lokking like weird animals and sometimes dogs/wolfs(thats the case with me at least)... so i didnt give them any hair styles this time.
since you probably cant tell who they are, let me list them from the bottom;left to right
sandpaw, ravenpaw, firepaw, greypaw, and dustpaw
whitestrom, bluestar, lionheart, spotted leaf
darkstripe, tigerclaw, and longtail

finally, someone else who uses digital art but doesn't make the colouring look insanely perfect. I like it when it looks like regular paint and sort of natural. It's beautiful!
I get what you mean about being a once avid warriors fan- the 4th series got weird and I kind of feel like with dawn of the clans they're kind of riding a dead horse (or shall I say dead cat).

-ok I know this is old but I have to comment-
I love the composition and placement choices you did for this. Have the apprentices in front, but the main three in very front with each being outlined is a very subtle way of showing how those 3 are important but not necessary better than others. Having the most heroic/noble members of the clan just behind them kind of represents how they guide the younger cats and teach them many things and with the 3 "bad guys" in the way back shows how they are/become a bit more outcasted or resented for some of their actions, longtail having his back to us for some reason makes me think of his conflicting opinions and trying to figure out where his loyalties lie.Β
It's just all so perfect and it really represents the story and stuff and I just love it.Β

i used to draw cats with bangs and hair stuff i thought it was a cool way to distinguish them haha
adding extra features isnt a bad thing, i just wanted to make the cats i drew in this less 'stylized' y ea

Ah, point taken. And I see what you're talking about. I've seen cats like that with the HUGE bangs and being way too over-customized...but i kind of like the way this one looks(and it kind of distinguishes gender, i only do this for females...)

I must say that this is absolutely Marvelous and extremely precise. Every cat you drew had a trait that one could 'their own'. For example, FirePaw has his collar in front of him, and i love the way you gave LionHeart a mane! And plus, you also made every one of their pelts and eyes EXACTLY the way the book described. Honestly, i think this is the perfect warrior-cat tableau pose.
