Description 11" by 15" watercolor/gouache on watercolor paper

Wanted to try another watercolor/gouache painting, this time with a little bit more flair. Also wanted to try to do another akihiko yoshido type painting, but with traditional materials. It's a little bit of a hit or miss. I feel like its becoming difficult to keep a lot of details in the original sketch but you can get some nice colors and effects with watercolors/gouache. So I don't know, we'll see about the next one.

The "clear" shadows, sun, the girl, and the head of the deer are mostly the watercolor. While the highlights and the darkest parts of the shadow, the area near the jewelry, the lemur, the rabbit, the antlers are mostly gouache.

Majestic and imagination-inspiring pic! It could work for a book cover or a poster. I love all of the facial expressions, too!
