In the beginning it would be a simple sketched drawing of Meryan, inspired by this picture rammkitty-stock.deviantart.com… (No direct reference, though.) But it ended up being something more complicated and fancy... Damn, too many tiny details to paint.
Sketched on paper and painted in Photoshop CS2.
How many hours? I can't remember.

The girl in the painting is beautiful too and there's great detail to her hair and dress, but it's the enviroments that amazes me the most.

Foi um saco pintar aqueles detalhes de plantinha e tronco. Comecei lá em janeiro e nunca mais tive paciência para abrir o arquivo de novo. Aí ontem deu a louca e eu terminei.
Tá indo... Tenho que fazer as outras imagens de profile de char, mas não ando muito motivada... Cenas são tão mais divertidas de fazer!
Isso me faz lembrar que eu fiquei de ler o primeiros ensaios sobre a tua história. (É, assim como andei meio away do dA, andei extremamtente atrapalhada com o que eu ia fazer e com o que não ia.)

Oh, I LOVE this!!! The expression on her face, the intricate and rich details, the beautiful color tones you've chosen, the reflection -- love it, love it, love it. It reminds me of a painting I would see in a museum or a beautiful tapestry. I can see how it must have taken a long time to complete, but I'm so glad you did -- and even more glad you decided to share it with us. Being able to see this beautiful creation was a highlight for my day.
