I used to have a family. Until they were killed by Pitch. Then I was alone.
To avoid the pain, I was mischievous, rebellious, adventurous, carefree.... A little trouble maker, like you.
Although I was too young to remember my parents, and I had the lunar moths and moonbots, it was still... a lonely life...
Even so, I grew up watching the children of Earth. Even if they didn't know me, I felt like they were my friends. I needed to protect them.
You would do anything to protect your sister. I preserved your type of protection. Despite these 300 years, you, yourself, are still a child.
I cannot tell you this myself. You needed to find your new family on your own. I thought the truth would be too hard for you. THEY need to learn to accept and be there for you... so... if I don't act now, you might break... like Pitch did....

Watching that movie did anyone else think that the Man in the Moon and the Guardians were like A**holes for the most part?
I kept thinking poor Jack Frost.

This wa something I was wondering myself for my fics as well. Β Why on earth was Jack alone for so long?
So head canon time thanks to Jack Forst's mythology.
Since the stories pf Jack Frost date back to over a thousand years ago I decided it was OC creation time and made my own version of Jokul Frosti and everyone just assumes that Jack is is son or a Sprite created by Jokul and he was being taken care of.

Well, Bunnymund for one was a little jerk. But Jack ruined ONE Easter, and even that could've dropped Bunnymund's believer count, which is dangerous for the guardians. But Jack just wanted attention, Bunnymund should've realized.

well, no one really knows the man in the moon, do they?
If anything, Jack is lucky. He's RIGHT NEXT to all the children and people, Man in the moon only watches from far away.
How can he tell Jack how to be believed in? Jack has to find that out for himself, just like the others had to.
Jack is a smart guy, Jack could've figured it out eventually..
After all, Jack told man in the moon that he 'tried everything'.
