Lt. Uhura is standing next to the engineering station working on a report when Kirk and Spock rush on to the bridge. "Activate phaser banks," Kirk orders. The bridge quickly becomes a flurry of activity, as Uhura hustles back to her post, while a young female ensign in a Command division uniform also rushes across the bridge to her station.
