I always think of global warming when I see this. The day when we need to wear gas masks just to breath our air. But, that's just my opinion.

Seems we have something in common when it comes to post-apocalyptic settings.
It's interesting how even though the character and hte background harmonize for both being green, the character still sticks out by virtue of the paler tone and the white lighting contrasted to the full tone of the clouds.
I'll keep that picture around somwhere for inspiration.

Honestly, this creeps me out a bit ... but not in a bad way, seeing as I can't stop looking at it. 0.o
I like the green tones. Makes the scene look kinda swampy and radioactive. And the bony figure looks incredible. Though, I think his ear fur looks too shiny and fluffy for his condition. It could be more rough and matted like the tail.

Lifting the mask and sliding less than peacefully into that final night? I have to say this is quite striking, even if less than my favorites of yours. Still, the detail is very strong and the moment it represents is equally stirring.

I get the impression that it is somewhat new. Well, it's great stuff! Kind of expensive, though. I think you should give watercolor another go :3 Trying on new media is good for an artist.

Wow. Beautiful tones, and a slightly disturbing but fascinating character.
Gas masks huh? That kinda fits in with parts of your old plague doctor kick.
The contrast between the inking strokes of the background and the detail of the main subject is very beautiful.
Very good work!
Have you ever played Fallout? It's an classic RPG computer game series that might fit your liking.
