Description
A more medieval style griffin. I enjoy their long, curving necks.Still playing with my paper and paint. This is the first time I tried out water soluble oil paint and I love them.

I love it! Especially the torn edges of the paper! It makes me think that maybe the griffin was disturbed whilst napping or something and tore this paper that someone used to shield themselves with to keep from being mauled by an angry griffin. Just my point of view.

I took a heavy piece of drawing paper and soaked it in dye.

You and your work are loved by a lot of people, if the feature list is any indication. Very nice - I'm taken by the appearance of forest gloom lighting, as much by the griffin itself.

Beautiful! Very classic looking. I love the colours and the spiky feathers on it's neck and that beak looks lethal!

The greens in this are gorgeous - that perfect balance between paled yellow and a deep, atomic turquoise that gives pictures an ethereal, atmospheric life.

great job! i didn't even know there was such a thing as water soluble oil paints. it seems like it shouldn't make sense! wonderful job, the colors and detail is really nice. the paper torn edges are a nice touch too.
