I guess you could say it's a bit like Dinotopia - Or the other way around, depending on which you saw first. Not sure which one actually came first though - except it's not set in the modern era.

Anyway, this is a very well done piece! I love the shading, hatching instead of blending makes a piece seem more... clean. To me, at least. I love the character in this as well, dinosaurs are well known, but not too over-used.
And it's freaking awesome. He's drinking. Cappuccino.

Love it. Please post it here if you do decide to paint it - I would definitely like to see the finished piece.
As is though, it is a strong piece. The anatomy is very well done, as is the rendering (subtle rendering too, which isn't always easy to accomplish).
