Yeah he looks better. I hate those big anime eyes, when i see those it usually leads to me not watching the damn anime XD
And also, I forgot that Yu-Gi-Oh was ever made until I saw this pic.

Yet again, your version of a YuGiOh character proves to be more appealing than it's animated counterpart.
The gradients in this are soo nummy, and the whole grey scale look fits perfectly. It looks like manga artwork!

Yeah, in the Japanese opening. They like.... look at each other, and time freezes or something. It's very wierd. I guess they were trying to show how Yugi and Joey are friends or something? But the bizarre part was, it was Yami Yugi, not regular Yugi, and I wasn't under the impression that Yami Yugi really liked Joey all that much, besides an obligatory friendship born out of Yugi's. Wierd.

OK, well, you've seen my really doodley doodles XD This is obviously much cleaner. But I mean that it's a doodle because it's not really a considered drawing. It's just like... Yugi's head and the rest of his bust sort of.... ends.. yes XD

I remember when they changed the intro theme slightly... but it was in such a way that it bothered the CRAP out of me and I wanted to plug my ears every time I heard it. Still really enjoyed the content of the show, though XD

XD It's not so bad. I really like the unique art style, and the animation and such is better than one might have guessed. What is especially fun is to watch Yugi when he's not talking or part of the main action and just go WTF at some of the really bizarre, blank expressions he makes XD
The Japanese opening is very.... strange. I like the music at the very beginning, and the animation with Yami is just tops! But the music on the whole is just really bouncy and bizarre, and there is a SERIOUS suspect moment between Yami and Joey that makes me look around all shifty-eyed every time I see it XD
ZOMG, my hands are so shakey, too O_O I end up getting rid of the majority of the lines I draw. EDIT --> UNDO is my very bestest friend ever.

That's the same way with seeing characters' pictures on covers. Especially if the artist's idea of the character doesn't coincide with yours. >.>
