Description
Cave paintings depicting prehistoric dragons.The true nature of the paper is sadly very reduced by the scan. The original has a very textured surface as well as salt crystals growing on and in the fibers of the paper, giving it an extremely stone-like quality.
It will probably be in the Anthrocon art show. If you're there, please stop by and take a look :3
Also, if you think this is too detailed or too accurate for cave paintings, you really ought to take a closer look at the real thing. Prehistoric man's renderings of animals were studied and beautiful. I like the cave lions of Grotte Chauvet especially.

The salt is awesome! I love using that effect for texture, and for things like stars. also it sparkles in the light.

Yes. Stylized, but always beautiful. And I don't think many cave wall artists had erasers, so that makes it even more impressive.

oh cool^^ i was just learning in one of my art history classes about the cave painters and the hall of bulls. This is funny to see after 10 hours of cave bull and hand historical art^^ i love it^^Nicely done!
