Arguably one of the strongest cats in the glade, Wolfcatcher is an experienced fighter. Trained in part by his father and his devoted mentor, he knew he was destined for greatness. When he was still a new apprentice, RubbleClan raided VineClan’s camp, and he was ready to fight. During the battle, he witnessed his mentor be killed by a young blue-furred warrior. Wolfpaw tried to attack her, but his brother, Snakepaw, held him back as RubbleClan retreated. To this day, Wolfcatcher hasn’t forgotten that molly, as he has a tendency to hold grudges for a long time. Once on patrol, a straying kittypet from the Hindlegs’ camp crossed his border. The little white molly asked him to attack her, to show her his moves. Not holding back, he nearly demolished her. But she was impressed, even gasping for breath. Wolfcatcher quickly took her back to camp to be treated by the medicine cat. As she healed, he gave her tips on how to improve her skills. She told him she wanted to join his Clan, and when she recovered, she was apprenticed as Cranepaw. Wolfcatcher encouraged her, and she quickly became a nimble and skilled warrior. They became mates not long after she became a warrior. Despite his intimidating look, Wolfcatcher is quite the sweetheart. He worries about Cranewing a lot, and loves her dearly. He’s fiercely loyal to VineClan, and a strong follower of the warrior code. He has a soft spot for nature, and often explores the territory just to absorb the beauty. Wolfcatcher was ecstatic when Cranewing gave birth to their kits, Flurrykit, Brackenkit, and Celandinekit. He’s very protective of them, and often plays with them. He and his brother Snakeheart were a lot closer as apprentices, but they still joke around with each other often. Wolfcatcher couldn’t care much for their father, Bearclaw; the old tom has lost his wits and is only a bumbling mound to Wolfcatcher.
