i enjoy the abstractness of this piece. it almost feels as if it is in motion, or more symbolically that the happenings of the city are so quick and transient as to leave a blur.

What I really love about this is the depth you've created that you don't see at first.
At the bottom you've got little rooves and such and then everything just rises into large skyscrapers and a mass amount of work.
Excellent job.
I love the powerlines and the faded buildings in the background, it looks smoggy, (Which I think is brilliant) was that intended? ^.^
Brilliant.

You know I read in some authority comics about jack hawksmoor, basically a man who was experimented on by aliens to make him capable of communicating with the cities of earth and they talk back and do what he says, anyway in these comics they once defended the earth from an alien force by Jack using the cities that became like giant battle suits that fought and battled the aliens, I thought that was so awsome, I think you should do something like that.
[link]
Yea....its a battle suit made from a city.

I also got a Hawksmoor vibe when I first saw this. I always thought Hawksmoor had the coolest power as well (controlling a city has so many possibilities!) I missed the issue your talking about, but now I need to look that up because the link you showed was crazy.

It makes me wonder about the people who live further up and further into this city...
The cars on the street are so clear, that its temping to assume that its the same throughout, but the way the sky makes the top of the buildings fade... really makes me wonder.
A very beautiful cityscape. ^-^!
