Description Was reading a book and this tail popped up. It was about Jack Frost and it said it was a Russian tale, so I drew Russia as Jack Frost, the Ruby-Nosed and Ukraine as Maria. The story goes like this:

once upon a time there lived this mother with a daughter and stepdaughter. The stepdaughter, Maria was a kind and beautiful girl, but her stepmother hated her and praised her daughter Yagishna who was selfish and plain. One day the stepmother ordered her servant to take Maria to the deepest part of the forest and leave her there to die. The servant didn't want, but was forced to and so he took Maria to the deepest part of the forest and left her there. Soon after he did that a man come jumping out of the woods.
"I am Jack Frost, the Ruby-Nosed. I bring the winter wherever I go." he said.
"Oh," she said sadly. "Welcome, Jack Frost! god must have sent you to take me away from this world. It will be hard to leave, for it all looks so beautiful today: the snow is so white and the air is so clean and ice sparkles like diamonds."
He was about to touch and freeze her to death, but was moved by her words and sad eyes. Instead her gave her gifts to keep her warm. She sat on the chest he gave her and sang and laughed as her jumped and danced for her. Later that day the stepmother ordered the servant to fetch Maria. She figured Maria was dead and she would bury her body, but to her surprise Maria come home with the chest and clothing that made her look like a grand duchess. The stepmother soon showered Maria with care and said she was sorry for all the years of treating her poorly, but all the stepmother wanted was the chest. She told the servant to take Yagishna to the forest and get Jack Frost to give her a chest of treasures like Maria. The next morning the servant took Yagishna to the forest like he did with Maria, but when she met Jack Frost she was mean and insulting to him and so when the servant returned with Yagishna. The mother was frightened to death by seeing her daughter frozen by Jack Frost.

Da'w....a very cute story! ^W^
By the way, in the title, I think you mean "A Russian Tale". "Tale" = story. "Tail" = what an animal has.
