how much time on the comp did it take you, till you had it finished ? and which tablet do you use ?

I have wacom intuos4 tablet, about the time... I can't really remember, 4 or 5 hours maybe? I dont know

all tablets do the same, you can paint something like this with a genius tablet or a cintiq... at the end its almost the same... with a few differences ;D

well i started on the comp again. so i have to figure some things out. when you paint, do you use a high oppacity with your brush, like 100% or more something like 20%. i tried the 20% oppacity, which works good, but for some reason i am not satisfied with the result. maybe you have some nice tricks or hints for me ?

I use 100% to 30% opacity, it depends on what I want to do, for shadows, for instance.
About hints... aahmm, well I dont know, what works for me might not work for you, it takes a lot of practice and there are many ways to achieve a single result. Use low opacity when you want to do soft details like shadows or soft light reflections, other than that... well, A LOT of practice, it takes time and patience

thx for the hint. i never really worked on the comp, but i figured that it is easier and faster instead working on canvas, so i am happy to get as many hints as possible. practise is the key to any good result

How did you do the background? Which PS brush did you use on the details ?

ahmm, lets see, for background I remember that I used a regular chalk brush, those that comes with PS and the rest are just brush strokes with the same brush
