Description Contest entry for =LxLight 's movie crossover contest.

Movie: Shaolin Soccer
Raito as Sing (Stephen Chow)
L as Mui (Vicki Zhao)

Summary:
Shaolin Soccer is a 2001 Hong Kong comedy film co-written and directed by Stephen Chow, who also stars in the film. It is about a former Shaolin monk who reunites his five martial brothers, years after their master's death, to apply their superhuman martial art skills to play soccer and bring Shaolin kung fu to the masses.
~~~
Sing meets Mui, a homely girl who has been reduced to making sweet buns with her Tai Chi Chuan techniques. Her skin is so bad that flies buzz around her but Sing still befriends Mui. Later she confesses her feelings but Sing does not return them. Later when Sing wants to invite her to the championship game, he cannot find her. During the championship game, she shaves her head to pose as both a male player and a Shaolin follower and volunteers to be the new goalkeeper after two of the players are severally injured.
-Wikipedia
"I haven't had so much fun watching soccer since the last time I streaked."
-Film Critic
It's unfortunate that Shaolin Soccer is not that widely watched, but it was popular enough to make it's way across the Pacific from Hong Kong. I chose it for the contest because this is certainly one of my favorite movies (anything w/ Stephen Chow, basically is) and though it's not as funny if people haven't watched the movie, maybe it'll get some people to watch it.
As for my own comments about the piece, it basically sucksarse and I didn't get to work in the Shaolin Soccer logo and 'actor names' and the background looks like it's made of paper and their expressions aren't right and basically this piece makes Shaolin Soccer look bad.
I love the movie, and own it. I didn't know that Stephen Chow also was part of behind the scenes.
Heheheheh Shaolin Soccer is great!
Don't know how many Death Note fans will know 'bout it though. Plus it's sooooooo very different in mood than anything Death Note-y.
