Pigeons are really smart and cute but everyone thinks they're disgusting. I hate it.

Humans are the most cruel, hateful, ruthless spiecies that live on this world. That's why.
And I agree with you. They're truly and absolutely gorgerous creatures, if people took the time to look at them closely, really SEE them, maybe they would see that too.

Because, especially in cities, they are the equivalent of flying rats, carrying disease, littering everything with their poop, and generally being a nuisance. How do you feel about rats? Now randomly kicking one or being cruel is a bit overboard, but a little population control would be useful. Introduce more peregrine falcons.

It's like we want to be alone y'know? we don't want animals we can't tame coexisting with us. it's not fair.

Wow... There's so much emotion in this! I love the graffiti look of it!
Aw I love pigeons! D: they're such beautiful birds! It's as if people hate them just because they're almost the only animals that have learned to live among us.

I really like the watercolouring on this pic, how it contrasts from the light of joy to the dark of pain. And yeah, I don't understand either. They are fun to chase and yell at, but I have no idea why some people go out of their way to hurt them.

Happens to me once in a while. But usually it ends up in *Paw rage mode on* and it's not something nice for the pigeon hater.
Beautiful artwork, beautiful message.

I don't! Just know that there are some out there that feed, shelter, and protect pigeons. I've dressed their wounds and nursed sick ones back to health. I have friends who have risked their safety to climb up and rescue a nest of babies after the mother and all of their relatives were poisoned. All 4 of the squabs survived and now live safely indoors in a large enclosure, when they're not freely flying around the house!
People are cruel, and they just like being vicious to animals and other humans alike. Pigeons are a target, because it's accepted to be cruel to them.
If they tried kicking someone's dog, they would get their ass kicked and go to jail.

That isn't a good reason to hate them. People can be so cruel.

Well, I 'can' kick your child while he's playing on the playground. I 'can' slip poison into your food to make you sick when you eat at the restaurant I work at. I 'can' break into your house while you're gone and take your things, or while you're there, and hurt you. Do you want me to do these things to you?
No? Well, 'can,' right? It's a common reason to do something, isn't it? So why not, if I 'can.'
People just don't stop to consider these things, and I truly hope they find themselves vulnerable and afraid one night and run into people that are just like them, so they can learn what it is to be hurt for fun when you cannot escape. I wonder if they would do violence to an animal, if they truly knew how it felt to be so weak and helpless. The animals are our children, we're the only ones that can look after them.
Look what they choose to do, instead.

There are reasons you don't know my children, don't know what i eat and don't know where i life.
Sure - there are reasons against it, like you will get into the prison or other problems, but as far as those reasons will be gone, why not? Nobody will mind if you kill a bird - therefore it's up to you
And for some humans, that's all they need to know...

So you don't mind if someone kills a bird?
Maybe I don't mind if someone kills your children.
We all have our boundaries, don't we?

Well, I'm only using your own logic.
If you kill a bird, sure, someone might cry. It might really upset someone with a love for animals. But who cares? You felt like doing it, and you can do it, so why not? Kill innocent animals, because it's fun for you, and that's all that matters.
If I kill your child, sure, you might cry. It might really upset some people with documents and badges, if they caught me. But who cares? I felt like doing it, and I CAN do it, so why not? Kill your children, because I want to, and that's all that matters.
You see? It's no different. It's childish and monstrous for you to think it's okay to inflict pain on a living thing just because you can, regardless of whether it's a mouse or a human baby. Your type is more of a disease than the filthiest animal I've ever seen crawling through a gutter full of filth that you put there. In my country, if you do anything to pigeons meaner than chase them and get caught at it, you will be charged with animal cruelty. If you cause suffering or death, it becomes felony animal abuse.
In some countries, it's perfectly alright to murder children. The extent of the law doesn't cover all aspects of right and wrong. Good day, sir or madame, I hope those like you find yourselves cornered by someone equally as cruel in a dark secluded place.

The question is, could you really do it?
It's easy to say, i can do it - but most people can't do it....
In the past, it was no problem to kill a baby as long as it has not screamed, that was here in europe - the church said, after the first scream, they got a soul - therefore it become more difficult to kill it
and now, you make a little experiment - can you kill a cat? i guess you will say yes, but can you? try it!
Now say me why don't you do that? Those are the reasons why you can't do it! As long as those reasons exist - you won't be able to kill a cat...

Sorry to nose in, but...
And that's also the reason why you shouldn't be able to kill a cat. Unless you are some sort of sociopath.
