Your tutorial is interesting and helpful for those who wish to make their tail(s) quickly. I already have a tail but unlike the "use faux fur" method, I did the yarn fluff method and it actually looks really amazing even though I had a few conniption fits here and there when making all the yarn fluffs to sew together onto the base core.

Do you have any tips on making tails stand on their own? Ny character has a really long tail and I have a hard time having it up while trying to make it look natural :/

I think if you add a wire on the inside of it before it's fully sealed you might be able to get it to stay up. I've done that as well as a tight stitch near the end of the tail that pulled it into a nice little curl. Maybe that might help you out.

Someone told me that if you tuck the fur into the seams before sewing, that could help too. Ehehe. Well, it's always good to have a few diffrent ways to do things.

Well, I just got a sewing machine for chrismass. And I thought I'd have a few months for A-con, but turns out I have a whole 'nother year and a few months. SoOoOoOoOoOoOoooooo~ I can spent all that time waiting for Anthrocon 2014 to test new ways to make a new partial fursuit. Ehehe. Maybe I'll try zigzag stitches. Also allows slight stretching or stronger seams. Ehehehehe. ^^
