Great Briareos Cosplay! Have you ever thought about doing one in Appleseed's ORC armor? I can not believe how little of it there is on DA! I am making some for burning man event in North America myself, if you can I may see you there! (Do not forget the sub armor cooling system! It gets HOT there!)

Where you in London during the finals?

No, I wasn't - I am one of the organizers of the EC partner event here in Serbia, Japanizam, during which we select our finalist. I happen to be the host of the cosplay competition and the focal point for all contacts with the EC staff, so that's why I follow closely what's happening in London even though I cannot go there.
The reason why I cannot attend the EC - and also the reason why our own finalist was unable to participate in this year's finals - is that the Serbian citizens still need UK visas in order to go to London, and the UK authorities have started implementing a stricter migration policy from this year. This is why all the invitation letters from the EC staff, guarantee papers and certificates were not enough to get the UK visa....

Yes, we heard about that, same for one of the Turkish representants. It's really a shame.
I hope this won't happen again next time, it's obvious that it's just for leisure that you need a visa.

Sometimes I wonder if a European championship should even be held in a country whose authorities make it clear that some Europeans are not welcome there, but oh well, that's politics for you.
