a fanart of Sakura from Card captor sakurai have tried many times to draw her
since she is an old time classic from my childhood
but this is the first time ive finished a pic im happy to upload
hopefull my Bgs are getting better
though im not sure about the sky but ill leave that up to you to decide
i want to thank all those that came to the stream for this
it was a fun experience

That's pretty good, but the correct name is "Card Captor Sakura" as she is the only one who keep all the cards and convert them.
The adapted name doesn't matter anymore.
She appears to be a lot older than her first adventures which remember of how she looked during the end of the manga.

but i grew up watching the english version so i have a habit of typing and saying just cardcaptors
um i just looked up her costume for this
and this is how my style ended up making her look
since i cant really draw in the original style
um hope that makes sense

The english version was a lot deceiving from what I heard and specially the names which gone wrong.
And yep, drawing like Clamp is hard.
I even considered stopping drawing her, because of that, lol

thought i have watched the tsubasa reservoir so i guess that makes up for something lol
i think the main thing with art is to be able to do your own style
using someone else's, for me at least doesnt help me improve

Yup, I hate what the distributors does with animes broadcasted in the western world.
When they comes to America, they end up butchered and filled with lies...
Same happens with Astro Boy which is in truth a watered down version of Tetsuwan Atom which is the real thing.
In the dub, the protagonist sounds more like a machine with a rough speech, while in the original series Atom (as he is called) talks more naturally.
It's a pain that many people get deceived by the dub, which means the version which you watched is the one which they tried to make Shoran become the protagonist, right?
