week 52 of . (wow, it's already been a year!) theme was to draw a pony in freefall.i was gonna do something all different artistically and not one those same old ponies roughly-show-style like usual, but when I was trying to think of which pony I should draw I somehow ended up with Luna, and considering the fact I've never relaly drawn her old-style self I thought I should just go with doing it pretty normally. I added a bit of what I was going to do originally with the whole moondust effect around her or something, though.
she's missing her accessories and cutiemark not out of laziness -- in fact I find drawing those on the alicorns very fun. this is supposed to be her when she's very young, perhaps an artistic explanation of 'where she came from' even as a foal or whatever

Woona~a! Luna is cutest foal.
Is she supposed to be in freefall? It looks to me like she is floating (in a magical sense) on a placid lake. The moon is reflected in the water beneath her. If that's what you were going for, then bravo.

I actually was going to mention that in my description, but decided against it -- usually the themes are very lenient toward the details or how you interpret it anyway. But really, yeah, she's 'falling', not necessarily in 'freefall' though I guess. That theme was too specific and I didn't just wanna draw a pony limbs all spread out falling through the air, which is the only way I know how to interpret 'freefall' :T
And it was actually supposed to be her, like, I guess falling into the atmosphere of the night sky from the moon, with that white thing under her being like a magic cradling platform thing of sorts, but your interpretation is fine, haha.
