I started animals with pastel drawing on brown paper and acrylic painting so I was always able to change something if something was wrong. Then when I move into watercolour, I just make sure I draw everything right with pencil first, so I never really had to rip my artwork in half. Even when I don't like how the piece is turning out, I won't stop drawing because I feel bad to leave the animal half drawn and painted...
As for human beings though, I had times where my canvas was a centimetre thick because I tried to correct things too much... you tend to get away with a bit of flaw in animals... Although these days I can really start to tell if a feline or a canine is ugly or good looking, which is weird...

Your skill with watercolors is amazing, how long have you been working with them?

I started my art with pastel and acrylics, I had to do a lot of practice to get use to watercolour (about 6 month?). I think it's harder than any other kind of art because it's really hard to change stuff and it's annoying how you have to leave your white alone. I think I am better at acrylics where you can make as many mistakes as you want (haven't touched them in a while...)

It takes a while to learn how to use new media; I feel kind of like painting again.

I really want to draw the manga/cartoon style coloured with computer programs but I don't have much time practicing them and I can't afford photoshop or open canvas... (12 days until my photoshop expires *cry)

Yeah photoshop is pretty pricey. Most people just download it illegally. I use the GIMP but photoshop would be nicer.

I am scared of virus *cry
I don't want to harm this computer in any possible way... if I get enough money, I probably would get Open Canvas or something so that I can play with it :3

I'll do the same because I don't want a screwed version of PS. I could probably just steal it off someone's computer though..

I would steal it from someone but none of my friends are interested in art... D:
