Water is fluid and very versatile and this is reflected in its Guardian. Although it is purely aligned with Magic unlike the Battle Mage, it is able to incorporate magic into his physical attacks, like how a Paladin uses Light in his attacks. This is very evident in the Guardian's choice of weapon, the Pole-Stave. Like the oceans, the Guardian can be very temperamental - calm and gentle one moment, vengeful and disastrous the next. The creatures of the Element of Water are similar in character and one often wonders, did they change the Guardian or are the creatures like that because of the Guardian?
