Description
I was playing DnD. I wanted to make the edgiest character known to man, and then undermine them by making them adorable. In the end, I decided to play a 4 foot tall vampiric dark elf, named after the band 'R.E.O. Speedwagon'. As the rogue, I went into a dark cave to scout ahead of the party. I forgot drow had darkvision, so I lit a lantern. Sadly, this was just the beginning of my role-playing-idiocy. I managed to convince myself that the mushrooms in the cave were giving off hallucinogenic spores, and began a long, costly and rather embarrassing attempt to detoxify my character. Only afterward, did my DM inform me that vampires don't breathe . . .
