Description A Gijinka of my cornsnake, Bulbine. I thought I'd try this autocoloring program since it caused quite a ruckus at one point. It does a decent job and definitely I think it's a good add-on for color swatches and such. But it's not going to replace actual work with colors and lighting for me.

She's mainly greyish-brown/yellow with a light stomach. She really loves warm places while still being a skinny girl (I do feed her though, don't worry.)
She has a bit fat cheeks though, they're the cutest thing ever.

You have a pet snake! That is awesome My parents would never allow me to have a snake XD....seriously though, I think it is neat you took time drawing a gijinka of your pet

She has a very sweet design! I like how you drew the outfit she has. Her hairstyle with multiple colors fits her design really well ^^

Haha my mom really didn't like the idea either, that's why I got her after moving out! (she was a lot of help at getting her stuff though)

I was thinking of posting some pictures of her here too, but since it's an art website I'm leaning a bit more towards drawing her properly someday.

I tried to use her outfit to kind of emphasize how she is a long skinny girl (despite feeding, according to her previous owner she's always been a bit like that. She's 3 years old) but does love warm places. A lot.

She's a little shy most of the time but has been warming up to me since I've been (insert controversy gasp here) hand feeding her. I got bit once when she was really hungry, but she's much more okay with touch and such now that she knows my hand means food is coming.

I've noticed a couple times now that if I go for example clean some poo-poo or change her water she might come investigate my hand in case of mice.

I know you're not really supposed to do that, because, yeah, the snake can bite. But since she's not a venomous type and I keep my hands clean of anything that could be harmful to her (and I do have to handle her for checkups anyhow) I personally think you have to be a bit okay with that.

I am glad hearing from you Thank you so much for replying to my comment!

I can tell you care a lot for her, and that is awesome to me. I love snakes myself and have always wanted one. The idea of drawing a gijinka version of her is really sweet to me and I think you did great drawing her!

If you want to show pictures, please do! It would be cool seeing some pictures. I have seen a lot of people show photographs of various things. DA may be an art site, but photographs themselves are a type of art.
