Finally!!! I have done it! I drew Ty playing a piano!!A very crappy looking piano, but I digress.
Actually, I used a reference for this. The piano drawn is actually my own piano, a very old hand-me down one that is rather elegant and inviting in its own way. I had my brother pose for me in similar fashion. This assignment was a free for all in art class, and being without ideas, I drew this. I'm pretty happy with his head and hands (plus that wristband on his left arm, with the strap).
It isn't perfect, but I'm happy I, for once, drew something that wasn't just a person standing around staring at you. The clothing wasn't referenced and I'm pretty sure there are many other mistakes, but I shan't ruin it for myself any further XD I plan to try watercolors on this. It amazes me I keep insisting on doing watercolors when I know I fail at them and end up ruining all my drawings, but dagnabbit, I'll try until I succeed!!!

lucky ): my art teacher is actually really cool, he just takes art seriously. on the otherhand, that's also something I'm thankful for because it helps in creating strong pieces of art
Yeah, that's true.
In my art class, we're pretty much on our own minus some reviews and stuff from my teacher. It's a very lax environment, but I always feel really dumb because I can never think of any good projects...sigh. I'm so uncreative ):
