Description NOTE: As most of you should know, I have a natural stuttering problem, so watch your tongues.

This is Part 1 of a 4 part submission of the Intro to Hypernurbs tutorial, which defines how a hypernurb works and what its used for. This video is for those that have tried using Hypernurbs but had no idea how to use it, thus making their low poly mesh look like a deformed pillow rather than what everyone says, it makes it smoother and better looking. This is to teach you how to use this modifier. And also a few other things. total duration of all 4 videos is about 38 minutes.

I just hope the other parts will be uploaded without fail as well. Should be up within the next few hours or so, technically part 1,2and 3 were suppose to be the same part, but I exported them while having 1/3 of the video selected, so instead of exporting out the whole thing it only did the first part, which also means this one will end abruptly, anyway im too tired to do details, so enjoy.

PS: I made the crappy HyperNURBS model that is in the preview pic...lol.

This is a really good introduction to hyper-nurbs and I thoroughly enjoyed it - even with the barking dog

One of the really good things is the way you showed the difference between weights and knife techniques, explaining where each would be best use.

Again, really good and thanks for the information...

Ehh, how do you upload videos onto dA like that? All the other videos look different to yours.

THose other videos are for the deviantart video accounts. Since I do tutorials, I'm not given one, so I have to resort to another method. You know about flash animations right? How they are in swf format? Well that's what my video formats are in, though I think there is a 25MB or 30MB size limit cap for these files. But yeah. thats what it is. I'm using Camtasia to record my tutorials, and also using camtasia to output to swf.

swf isn't for 30fps full colored video, incase you had that in mind. SInce naturally the file sizes would be so huge that you wouldn't be able to upload it. If you really want a video account, here is the sign up form is in this link with the info on it as well:
