Gentlemen's duel with a gator anyone?Done for my sculpture class. Yep. This will be my sculpture
Hmmm I think I will call him "Captain Frank Dile".

The amazing thing about this drawing is that the linework looks so fluent, yet so controlled. This really makes the character come "alive". It's easy to see where the "line of movement" is situated in the structure of this character.
With this level of drawing skill, and some practice, I reckon you'd make an excellent animator (just a suggestion, though-why don't you try making a coloured cel from this drawing? Something to mull over, anyway.)
Just one small criticism, though-some of the detail in the alligators's face could do with a little more definition. It just looks a little unclear at the moment. Not that much of an issue, though.

The style is so naturally it's beyond positively awesome. Love the design. Your gator actually kind of reminds me of the one from Peter Pan.

Great job! I've tried to draw a few anthro gators before and was never to pleased with the results. Here's my only critique and it's a small one. I might shorten the arms a bit. The arm without the sword looks a little better. Can't wait to see the sculpt!

and in an attacking pose you would be leaning forwards and not backwards...
so either you can redraw him leaning forwards or better still change the left hand to make a defensive stance, which would be more easier....

I'm afraid I can't, because we will use some kind of oily clay that can't be painted. Anyway, I will ask the teacher if there's some way to do it.

Oh wait i have one thing, i think it wont hurt if you give him a bit more weight on one of his legs. Cus in my eyes theres something wrong with the weight
