Day 2 only yielded 2 hours of work thanks to the day job butting in. Still, it is important to remember the client and give them meaningful updates. Today I focused on the background images to start to pull the composition together. What was not seen in the illustration yesterday is Isis the cat (or rather a statue of an cat from Egyptian influence). It wasn't important for me to have a real cat and stylistically this works (the idea came after looking at some Bruce Timm artwork)

The background Julie will ultimately be toned down in the final, but I want to make sure that the color is right before I adjust the saturation.
