Ok my lovelies, here's another 'Ship of Queens' page.Here you meet another major player in the story; Petunia, the beautiful daughter of Hortense.
She's deliciously arrogant and obscenely well dressed. I heart her.
But you guys aren't supposed to like her because, well, she's pretty evil. Bitch. Ha.

I adore Petunia's dress!
Thanks for clarifying that this is a new "Titanic". Here I was thinking this was time travel! It's just your run-of-the-mill being sucked into a book vortex that leads to an alternate reality, though.

Aaah, yes, the being sucked into a book and going into imaginary realms. I know, it's been done before... But this story is just part of a bigger series, there's a bigger story at work. One that, probably, will never ever get finished, alas.
Her dress is awesome, even if I do say so myself. It's inspired by the one Kate Winslet wears in the film when she's about to throw herself off the stern, though Red didn't suit Petunia so well so I tinted it pink instead. I think she looks rather ravishing. She's going to look gorgeous in every panel, a different dress and hairdo for every scene she's in. Ambitious and time consuming, but I reckon worth it. I like drawing girls in big frocks.
