Just a silly thing, I don't mean it too seriously.Can't say I've ever drawn Lalu before, I don't know, is it a crackship? How crack does a ship have to be for it to be a crackship? Ah well.Β

I've wondered if LaLu is a crackship or not myself. Β When I first realized that it was a ship at all I was really surprised, but then it seemed interesting enough to write about.

Maybe not so crack-ish, if you ask me. If a certain disparaging remark made during the Phantom Lord arc is anything to go by, Laxus has had the hots for Lucy since first laying eyes on her...and now that he's taken a level in kindness (as demonstrated on Tenrou and in the Grand Magic Games) since his fall from grace, it's not so outlandish to imagine him warming up to her for real.
So yeah, this pretty much sums it up.Β Β

lol it's not a crackship...afterall he did make the one comment in the Chapter 51 of the manga, he states that he'll help out...if lucy becomes his woman. so not really farfetched or cracklike at all. just overlooked, I think.

That's fair enough. I suppose it's one of those things where I don't know how to define what makes a "crack" pairing or if it's just "a" pairing.

lol as I totally 'Ship them, I think it's just a minority Shipping. People like the obvious ones (NaLu, LoLu, GraLu, I don't mind them either).
There is, however, always something intriguing about the "Bad Boy" and "Golden Girl" type of relationship that makes me go "aww...how cute.."

Yeah I think I can really understand that. I admit when I first thought of Lalu as a thing that existed, I was a bit dubious, but the more I think about them together, the more I kind of really quite like the pairing. I think maybe that's one of the nice things about characters like Lucy, I think she could be part of a successful relationship with almost any of the other characters.

yup, I also like her with Freed. I think they'd be a cute couple in a "she never ran away" because he just comes off as he came from the same sort of situation. And there are even less writings of those two. I like Lucy with just about anyone, She's an Any!Ship.

Lucy/Freed is -rare-. I mean, the only thing i've found less of (from Main Characters in FT) is Bickslow/Lucy..which is uh...interesting. especially some writer's take on it. lol
