Description

Baelfire is a "halfway home" hero...  He starts out doing a selfless deed, but then chokes and takes it back so that what he did do was kind of pointless.

Henry did something very similar when he abseiled out of his window right after he went home with Regina to get her to stop throwing magic at people...

True very true.  Like father like son.  In fact weaseling out of responsibility at the last moment seems to be a family trait

At least Rumple regretted it the moment after it happened enough to spend his life trying to fix it.  My problem with Neal is I'm still ticked at him for not trying to square things off with Emma.  He came running when he heard he had a kid, but Emma was just left to be forever without a feeling of closure.  And then totally blew off Rumple when he tried to give Bae closure...

That's both funny and thought provoking. Speaking of the Darlings, am I the only one who believes they come from another alternate world and not the "normal" world that the curse sent everyone to? I rewatched OUAT Seasons 1 and 2 and Neal says he visited more than one land when he left home and in 3X10, John says it's time to go back to their own world. OUAT in Wonderland also suggests this might be the case. I know official sources say otherwise but I have my doubts.

Yeah...  It's kind of weird how they have that.  I kind of wonder if some of these "worlds" are alternate dimensions... kind of like parrallel universes where things are kind of the same but different, or in different time-zones...  Like, in the Land Without Color... they have Christmas there.  I would be interesting to see if they explain more about the worlds...

Pretty much got his character accurate don't forget to remind us that he cares for said people while others are evil therefore we forget Bae does something horrid

I think what actually happened in this case was he was a moron, and it simply didn't occur to him that only letting himself be brought to the general area of Neverland wouldn't satisfy the Shadow's deal thing.  He probably thought that he could go back to the Darling's house and John and Michael would still be there and the shadow wouldn't think to come back looking for him there or try to grab John or Michael since he didn't follow through with going there.

Well he was trying to do what it takes  to save his new family considered himself one of Wendy's brothers so perhaps thought maybe that was all the Shadow wanted. Although looking back now I can help but wonder if Peter tricked Wendy into saying that because she knew how much Bae hated magic, makes her a little bit more untrustworthy than I remember.

It's kind of strange that the Shadow would take her at all if he only wanted boys.  Maybe in order to get back she had to promise that one of her brothers would go to Neverland instead of her.

Not only that, but she let herself trick Henry into thinking she was dying, and after that she lied to the rescue party about knowing about Henry and what Pan wanted with him.

Nope, I wouldn't call this version of Wendy trustworthy...

At this point in his timeline I don't think I really dislike him.  I do think he kind of acts like a total moron a lot, though.  I mean (in this case) he acts like he thinks that nearly going to Neverland is enough to satisfy the shadow...  That it won't just go back and fetch John or Michael if it cant find him...
