Ganjel is a dish invented by the nomadic Elves of the northern peninsula, which has since gained popularity across the world as a delicacy. Being rich in nutrients and having a long shelf-life, it travels well and keeps the Elves going on long treks, and can be found in markets as far away as the Sunset Isles. It's a bit of a love-it-or-hate-it food, what with the strong aroma and strange aftertaste, but people who like it will insist it's really good on toast.

People who don't like it are very fond of reminding people who do like it that it's basically carnivorous plant puke, but the less said about that, the better.
