Honestly..here's an idea I had with these two win terms of how the whole Lucky Girl thing grew when GWen left for college in Guardians...at last some concepts;
After the Ledgerdomain incidents, Charmcaster started questioning how well she was doing as a ruler. So she basically began to ook for any survivors of the human inhabinants of Lederdomain, while Adwaita is wanting the Charms of Bezel, upon discovering hat the great wizard himself fixed them. To get to them, he contacted one MIchael Morningstar to fet the Keystone for him so he can use it to augment his powers when he is able to use them.
However, on the EArth side of htings, Hex took a job at Friedkin university as a way to make an income given its connections to a man named Archibald Friedkin, a famed sorcerer in the magical underworld on Earth (better known as a scholar, but eally a practicionar of magical art) and disguised himself as a normal teacher to hide among the students and staff while secretly learning it's secrets. HOwever, he didn't expect to find Gwen there with Kevin, and the two fought against him but ended up finding a secret sanctum where Friedkin's mentor, one Bezel the Wise, chose as refuge in the early days of America. There, the three met the wizard via a small talisman that spoke to them; warning them of Adwaita's return to power and his plans of dominating the earth with Ledgerdomain.
Basically, he enlists Gwen and Hex to work together. They aren't thrilled about it, but BEzel reminds them that they together with Charmcaster may be their best chance magically wise without involving Anodites (who are borderline useless against the possessed turtle since they are LIVING Mana and pur emana attacks and non-verbal magic (Their speciality) is useless against his species) and his foot soldiers who wish to use the charms. Thinking that the oly real chance they got is to teach GWen about Earth magic if she is not gonna learn from Anodites, Hex decides to mentor Gwen so he feels there is some small chance he she can last a little against the demonic being inhabiting a turtle body. Of course, he's not her main mentor and more just taying around because Bezel has what he wants and is just biding his time, but Bezel is teaching Gwen his own blend of spells behind Hex's back so that there'd e no double cross (Bezel is over centruies old. He'd know a turncoat if he saw one XP BUT Hex is hte most experienced with Adwaita, thus why he is even bothering with him)
(But here though? REALLY like Charmcaster's design. XP Though...is it wrong if I had theidea of Charmcaster doing this to change between her UAF's Enchantress look to her current design; www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nhKEO… )

......... Why in the name of Bezel himself did they not do this instead of the nonsense they actually did?...

You mean the...like, 4 episodes where we went to Friedkin and stupid stuff happened? (OKay the DArkstar episode was okay, but every other one was just insane...especially when Bezel was revealed to be a guy who prefered stage magic to real magic (I don't mind if he likes it, but revealing that there is no RULES to magic? HTat makes no sense DX))
Hell, that's kinda why I am making it that Magic is different for different practicioners; Terraspin's are more like zen-styled spirit magic like Astral Projection and the like typically, Snare-oh's species use more hexes and curses, Anodites use pure mana in non-verbal spells, the alien Dragons can use magic in some degree (A friend of mine helped me wiht that idea ) but humans have the most complex form of magic of them all.
Basically, Anodites are powerful but they are just RAW power. Bezel isn't a fan of thsi because to him, that can be sloppy and very dangerous if not mastered correctly. They know some Ledgerdomain spells, but they mostly practice the non-verbal spells. Verbal spells (human caster speciality and what they created themselves) is one of the most focused forms of magic in my take o Ben 10 Basically with the spell you can do a LOt of different things outside of just shooting energy blasts or making someone gain like an third eye from a curse. You can basically bend any element to your will and summon powerful creatures. None of the other alien spellcasters can use that kind of magic unless it was from them. (So yeah, Humans from both earth and Ledgerdomain has the most powerful magic)

Yeah, the moment I heard him say that magic "has no rules," I was like "Hey DJW, Stephen Strange called, he says you're full of shit!"
Hmmm......... Yeah, I can buy that.

ALso...to go onto the idea of Friedkin University kinda being a magic school (with the staff being primarily of magic users and many of the students having magical capabilities or ancestry in magical arts), here's the main staff since Hex is more in the lines of 'community Service':
Dr. Benedic Z. Elroy (Take a wild guess who this guy really is XP) (Literary History Professor and keeper of the Fiat of Zoraster, as well as the most powerful mage of ancient times)
Dr. Helena Flamel (Art History and Science teacher on the main school, also acts as the Alchemy instructor in the magic side)
Professor Albus Guiden (Headmaster and High Magus of Earth)
Dr. I.J. Crowler (this woman: ben10.wikia.com/wiki/I.J._Crow… ) (Creative Writing Professor and AncientScripture expert)
Sir Raphael Morningstar (Physics Teacher and Magical Creature expert) (Guess who he's related to...)
Chef Kyle Curwen (Chef at the Food cart on campus and dimensional expert)
Basically they take jobs as regular teachers as a cover for their real work with dealing with magical and other forms of supernatrual going ons in the world.

Yeah. Thus why Bezel is the guy who wrote the rules of magic

Nice! I'm liking the return to the OS designs and Charmcaster's new coat is cool looking.

Thanks. I much preferred Hex's OS design, since it gave him a sort of "necromancer" vibe, making him that much more creepily awesome(his UAF design looked a bit too generic for him... and the less said about him in Omniverse, the better).
Charmcaster, meanwhile, had a good design in both OS and OV(though, her characterization in the latter tended to suffer more than a bit), while her UAF design felt almost like a completely different character.

I see what you mean, I got a Voo Doo Witch Doctor look from him. I think his debut episode taking place in Louisiana helped with that feeling I got from him.
Agreed, on both her design and character, couldn't quite get a fix on it during her OV episodes, but it was better than the constant flip flopping that she was doing in UAF.

THIS. Charmcaster in OV wasn't her OS/real self, but still closer to it than the awful UAF version, not to mention actually enjoyable and actually CONSISTENT.
