Anymore..This was just about the last time I was allowed access to Harriers, taken on Cottesmores Family Day before they were scrapped and RAF Cottesmore was closed as an RAF base..
I was given a ticket, and as such could wonder about freely.. This is No 1 Squadrons Hanger.. These GR9a's have just returned from Afghanistan and are undergoing full maintenance..
No more Voice in the Sky around me, just hairdryers.. (Grobs!).
I miss them greatly.. And I detest Cameron..

So amazing you could go in there and have a look, something I could just dream about, but I did get inside the RAF base in brize nortorn but that was to the cadets living hall with bowling, due to having a contact there

Yes, I miss the Harrier deeply, we should build new ones and cancel the F-35..

They were a great aircraft and I like this close up of the nose end.

They were and still are mate, we scrapped them far too early.. Money in rich guys pockets.

A pile of over priced, broken sub Harrier aircraft.. We (the UK) should have kept ours, our new carriers now would have aircraft instead of having none!
